Re: Dripping sludge!

Richard,
Normally the water is leaving as steam vapor and will continue out where oil will not. This is what I seem to see in my vapor drainage.
Am I thinking wrong?

Re: Need Switch Limit Clip

Do you want the part that is fastened by the switch mounting nut? The "J" shaped piece.
If so, let me know and I will send you one.

Re: Dripping sludge!

I keep ours at 6 - 6 1/2 for consumption. Oil sludge out the breather can happen when the breather tube from the front has a downward slope to the rear. If the slope is upward to the rear the oil will drop out and drain back into the engine.

Re: New Owner with a Cowling Question

I had to modify my intake due to the air box hitting it. Didn't take much but it made a better fit.

How long do you want to sit without moving? 3 1/2 to 4 hours is enough for me. I can do also without the extra weight.

George, did you check how much insurance is? My friend had a Bell and cost him $13,000,00 for 6 months. Just another thought.

I use a modified 4" metal extension such as used on truck inner tires. Very easy to use and you do have to remember to remove before flight.

Re: Cylinder problems

I had problems with my ECI's that also had seized rings that couldn't be removed from the piston. Out of 6 ECI cylinders I replaced 3 - 2 ECI's and 1 with a Millenium. I never had problems with the Milleniums so I went back to them. I am sure the ring grooves were cut too close for no clearing movem...
