Re: BMW Isetta

Hah! I'd not seen that one. I can't recall EVER having the feeling of "the excitement of sportscar driving" while driving my Isetta! Getting my 215 pounds along with my 10 & 13 year old nieces up the hill from the ice cream shop requires every ounce of HP that little car can produce! T...

Used it on leading edge. Better than wax. How much better? Hard to say but I keep using it.

Re: tailwheel spring installation

Saw this on the super cub site. Sounds as though the developer is working on the STC.

Becky and Julia
Becky and Julia
A first for me.... Got to fly Becky and a sharp young lady who interned at my company to her home gun club tonight.

A couple of enjoyable ladies, some trapshooting (that's the club behind the plane), a steak on the grill at the club and a super smooth night flight home. Life is good!

Christine, I really like your interior! Nice looking and functional too with all those pockets in the side panel and the door. And the seat looks comfy too!

Re: Portable Tie Downs

I like the small size of the fly ties. Was also a good reminder for me - and I watched the fly ties video too - Bruce is correct - place the tie downs directly under the attach point. But that got to to thinking about the tail wheel. No way to get that one under the rear tie down. So a question - is...

Re: iPad Mini's

Anybody using an iphone 6 plus? I think this might be big enough? I'm using both an IPad Mini and an IPhone 6+ with a Stratus 2S and love the combo! https://www.backcountrypilot.org/images/originalphotos/groupphotos/2/3462/d8b5e899e21556357946e54d.jpg What did you use for the iPhone mount? Re: Cessna 170 Cuba

The thing that made me pause was the frequency of the log book entries. Dang, people flew a lot and more often in those days! Guess I need to fire up and fly more often too!

That's a neat page Miles. Thanks for sharing!
