Re: Airplane Rides - Liability

Get some sleep and quit worrying, give the rides and enjoy it, be somewhat selective who you take, if they are decent folk then say yes, you do have insurance? if so, then go for it and fly like you were meant to. give back what some one gave to you A few years ago I gave a first ride to a young man...

Re: Why Annual inspection is the ONLY, valid pre-buy inspect

Gary, the rebuild in that link made me exhausted just reading it. What a ton of work correcting all those problems on that plane. I was interested in a 206H that those guys were selling and what a PIA they were to deal with, it made me think of a used car salesman with alligator shoes, I had alread...

Re: Heater duct trim pieces

I am also looking for these pieces, I have seen them on several 170's but the part manual does not seem to show the trim piece that goes over the forward heat duct. I have a 1954 170B I am thinking the ones I have seen may have come from different year airplanes and that my 1954 170B did not have th...

Re: Wheel pants in winter?

I used to take them off in the winter so as to not have snow and slush build up inside them, brakes can freeze and you want to have access to free them need be. and not have wheel issues, it s amazing how much will get in there same with grass and leaves on grass strips.

Re: Flight Controls Free / Active

It is so easy to become complacent when we fly the same airplane all the time, I have found my self doing a checklist reading it and only going through the motions, not really checking what was on the checklist, after all I know the airplane and nothing is wrong with it , hey it' been in the hangar ...

Re: Curious about N2815C

Greeting All, In my never ending quest to purchase my own airplane (it will happen some day), I am curious if anyone has in information on N2815C. Seems to have been for sale for quite awhile. Most 170's I seem to key in on have sold fairly quickly, this has lingered for awhile...why? Appreciate th...
