Re: Ennis Montana- Anyone know about the area?

Have elk hunted there and it's beautiful country. I didn't spend any time in town though, but it certainly has a neat feel and appearance.

Wish I could provide more info, though.

Re: ForeFlight Scout

Thanks for the reply Mike. I need to do more education and was on my list for Osh, though missed it due to work/family obligations.

Looked like it was good that YOU made it, though. Congrats on receiving the outstanding 170 award!

Re: ForeFlight Scout

Mike, flew with a friend the other day who has a Stratus and he could see my old mode c transponder position showing on his ForeFlight. My understanding is that it's due to my position being picked up by ground radar. Does the Scout do the same or are you saying that's not the case when you say it d...

Re: Ingress Step Usage

I missed an opportunity for a picture as I saw a flat teardrop style pad added (welded) to an original style step on a 170 at a fly in on Sunday. Functional but just didn't look right!

Re: Flying Shoes

These caught my eye. May have to look at switching my slip ones, Avia tennis shoes and my go to winter choice - hiking boots!

This one is for my Southern friends...... Yes, that is ice. Yes, there are cars parked on the ice. Those little circles are holes drilled with an ice auger. It's what Minnesotans do as an excuse to spend time outdoors with friends (often drinking their beverages of choice). It's an ice fishing conte...

Michael - welcome!

Good looking bird! I like the paint job! You've got shoulder straps and tail pull handles. And on my phone the pics seem to show a pretty straight bird.

Where are you located, tell us more about yourself and the bird/purchase and I'm sure others will ask for more pics too!

Re: BMW Isetta

Hmmm.....

I've been looking at a lot of airstream ads lately. I also find my Isetta a little cold and not able to handle MN snow.

George, maybe it's time to work out a trade! :D
