If you are bald wear a hat or wig so you don't get a cut on your head when bumping the rudder or elevator.

Cleveland Brakes and Wheels.
Here's another one from the rank beginner: Am I right to assume that putting a new set of brakes and wheels on my 170 might be mandatory (or if not mandatory) a good Idea? I pretty much plan on keeping the stock 170A gear legs and maybe to put the PPonk blocks in there. What do you guys suggest beyo...

Re: True cost estimate of Yellow Tagged engine case and cran
Hmmm. So depending upon my luck. A crank will be 5 to 10 thousand. I also have no prop at this point so a prop of some kind would have to be purchased. Thanks for the info gents.

Re: True cost estimate of Yellow Tagged engine case and cran
I was asking what people thought a reasonable price for a yellow tagged counter-balanced crank and the cases for for a C-145 might be. I know I can buy stuff that hasn't been inspected for one kind of price. I was asking for input on what to expect the total cost to be to get reliable yellow tagged ...

True cost estimate of Yellow Tagged engine case and crank.
C-145 Engine Case and Crankshaft Costs: You can buy a case and crank; but what is the true cost? What should someone expect to pay for a C-145 Engine Case - both halves that has been inspected and Yellow Tagged? What about the Crankshaft cost total for buying one, having it inspected, attended to an...

Keep Blood Pressure Down: Don't eat roll on $100 burger.
Try keeping your weight and blood pressure down by not eating, bread, pasta and pizza. Have you ever noticed how America got fat when everyone started eating pasta, pizza and fast food hamburgers in the 60's? Also: In theory:The $100 Hamburger could be a bit cheaper without the roll.

What models of 0-300 are appropriate for the 170A? I have a project 170A with no engine. I am looking at an 0-300D. Is this ok?

Re: 170 Landing Gear Attach Block
so what makes the L-13 even uglier is when one flips one up on it's nose because of the big radial engine weight up front.
