Thanks guys. I have the Rapco filter. I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen something smaller that could screw in where the nipple goes. I imagined something similar to this

Vacuum Air Filter
Just hooked up my Vacuum system again after having my DG overhauled. I only have one instrument on the vacuum system. Does anyone make a small air filter that can be attached directly to the back of the air intake on the DG?

Re: 170 elevator trim push rod
Welcome Don. I hear the smoke in Missoula is pretty bad. I was just up in Kooskia (Down Hwy 12) this past weekend with my 170. We have a place up the river. I barely made it home through the smoke. It was not fun! Good luck with the elevator.

Re: Instrument Repair Shops
Dem,
I have used two repair shops recently. Naylor in Florida currently has my DG and VSI. Both are being overhauled. I'm expecting them back next week. I have also dealt with Century Instrument in Wichita. Both shops were a good experience.

Re: Vacuum Regulator
Thanks guys. I took it apart and cleaned it really good. I have the larger Venturi, 9" I believe. I removed the big AN gyro and am replacing it with a modern style DG. It will be the only Vacuum instrument I have. I was really close to just getting rid of the vacuum system altogether but I alre...

Vacuum Regulator
Does this appear to be an original regulator? The ports are marked with "P" and "H". Also a third hole that is plugged. The other side says Pesco 200.
I am looking to hook up a vacuum DG in my panel and was wondering if I could use this regulator.

Re: Interior pics
Mike, Thanks for the pictures! The condition of your rear seat is absolutely remarkable considering its age! It's like the previous owners only took the plane out of its hangar to fly at night. Attached are a couple of pictures Charlie sent me some time ago of his interior. Note the original gray f...

Re: Interior pics
Hi Gary. I believe my rear seat is original. At least as far as I can tell. The fabric and carpet matches the original material I removed form the floor and rest of airplane. Mine has four buttons.

Re: Zeftronics Regulator Approval (sp)
Actually, the one I got was the VR122. Do yo know what the difference is between the VR122 and the VR126? I think the VR122 was mentioned in a old thread. EDIT: Nevermind. I think the VR122 is the 20Amp model..... If you look at the picture in this link, you'll see that the cover is held on with two...

Re: Zeftronics Regulator Approval (sp)
Actually, the cover from my DR unit will not fit on the one I got from NAPA. There is a difference in how they covers fit. At least on the one I received. I'll try to get a picture later.

Re: Zeftronics Regulator Approval (sp)
George, I actually went down to NAPA and purchased a VR126 yesterday. It works beautifully for "ground testing" and I used it to validate that my old Delco was bad. Thanks for explaining the 337 process. I thought the local FSDO used to approve the 337's and now they are all mailed to OK C...

Re: Concorde Battery Charger
Just to circle back I received my new charger and it worked great on my battery. What I found was my voltage regulator was not working as it should. But my battery is much happier now.

Re: Zeftronics Regulator Approval (sp)
I'll talk to my IA about it on Monday but I don't see it as too much of a problem. Field approvals are getting harder to get in lieu of using the 337. I think if we write it up on a 337 with the supporting documentation it will probably get approved. Do they even look at 337's nowadays? They ...
