Anybody know where to get the old style Cessna Airframe Logbooks?
I did a search on the Form P121-13 that is listed on the first page, but came up empty. What are you using instead?
Thanks!
Mike

Re: Airport 80 Acres 165,000 $$ Estimated value
It's sad to see the bulldozing of nice airports in our neck of the woods. Weiss, St. Charles Muni, Arrowhead, Wentzville... Soon, we won't be able to find a strip shorter than 5,000 ft and 75 ft wide.
Is there a projected date?

Re: Another Rheostat Bites the Dust
Ryan and Christine, thank you too for your input. I needed some other stuff from Aircraft Spruce, so the 15 Ohm it is!

Re: Another Rheostat Bites the Dust
Of course I'm not going to throw it away Dave! It will probably sit on my desk for a year, like the Concorde battery I replaced last year. Finally got around to recycling it last week!

Another Rheostat Bites the Dust
IMG_0107.JPG After reading all of the threads on panel light rheostats, it looks like most of you are replacing the old ones with 25 Watt versions and either 0-15 Ohm or 0-100 Ohm specs. Those who have used the 15 Ohm rheostat, do they provide good dimming ability? Would the 100 Ohm work better sin...

Re: Cracked Flap
Talked to Del today, what a gracious gentleman. $1200 with new skins if needed. If I were going to send it out, I would use him.
I started working on it today. Drilled out about 100+ rivets. Hopefully get the U channel separated this weekend, but with guests in town, not likely

Quick update...
$1700 estimate from Airframe Components with primer only. Another $750 for paint!
Yeah, we'll be doing this ourselves.

Cracked Flap
The left flap on my 170A has a crack, about 2 - 3 inches long that was previously stop-drilled 4 times. It is located on the shear webbing/U-channel right at the inboard hinge. Over the past year, the crack hasn't propagated any further past the last stop-drill. I've been real conservative on flap s...

F&M Oil Adapter ICA
Hi everybody, I'm new to the boards here, so please be nice! Bought my 170 last fall and just finished up an oil change this weekend. The F&M adapter was installed on my engine a couple of years ago. I've read most of the posts here regarding the adapter and have a few questions. First, does any...

Re: Help Indentify Airplane
That was probably Air Choice One. They fly scheduled service out of Lambert STL to ORD and several oddball Midwest cities (Decatur, Ft. Dodge, Jonesboro,...) using Caravans. The company is based in Perryville, MO if I remember correctly, but was once Multi-Aero from Festus, MO. I guess they were pro...
