My thoughts on user fees is that our sirplanes will be worth about the price you can get for it at the scrap yard. Who will want them?

Send the carb to some one else?

If the engine won't stop with the mixture pulled, either the mixture control is not adjusted properly or fuel is not severed inside the carb.
Fuel is getting to the engine someway.

I had great results from Superior folks- Millenium cylinders.
I had break-in problems that really was my fault, but Superior paid for removal and rehoning, reinstall. Did not really have to out of Warranty but did anyway.
I would recommend them.

I had an oil leak that drove me crazy. I had new gasket installed on generator. So I thought it must be the tach drive unit. I used Tite Seal on Tach drive unit and found that it would not seal in the area of heat. Also, installed more than one seal, still leaked, finally sent to G&N and bought ...

Monarch cap fix

So what is the fix if the Monarch people are unavailable? When I purchased them I do not remember of any paper work needed, however that does not mean that there shouldn"t be.
Thanks
Dave

Monarch gas caps and engine tach leak

Two questions that I needs help with. 1. Do the Monarch gas caps needs STC-337? 2. My engine is leaking oil at the Tach shaft above the generator. Is that shaft tapered in any way? Mine seems to be tapered. It begins small and increases in size toward the engine. The seal does not fit snug and I can...

I want to thank each person for their input to my situation. Here is my plan: I removed all 6 cylinders and they are at G&N for rehatch and new contential rings. I am starting all over again at 40 SMOH. I will run the engine at higher RPM's than before, I will do my best to keep the engine cool ...

Millienium Cylinders

In response to Gahorn: yes I used mineral oil, but I did not run it hard due to the instructions I had from the overhauler. I have been told that I should have done that, now all cylinders have to come off and re hatch and new rings and do it again. My $ at this point, I was trying to find if ...

Thoughts Marty, Before you embark on more Venturi, I think that your system is not producing enough for both. Da! What I mean is this one venturi should run one insturment. I have the same problem. I have one venturi, it runs the one gyro, but does not have enough vac to run my DG. So at this time I...
