transponder antenna

Is there a best location to locate the transdonder antenna. Is it legal to mount it on one of the circular covers on the belly of the plane. There are a couple of locations that seem well clear of control cables etc. What do you think Thanks G

sorry slow to get back to ya. My cousin is an ame and float plane guy and we put in solid bushing so I wouldn't expect any droop in the mounts tho as they say I have been wrong before. One joker here on the field suggested i enlarge the mounting holes on the airfilter frane so I could position it a ...

I have a good 1/4 inch space all the way around but the 2 lower corners are in fact touching the cowl. I would expect with the rocking of normal engine operation this would hurt the air filter frame or air box. Any ideas how to free it up???????G

cowl air filter conflict

Fitting the cowl I am finding the air filter frame is quite tight against the cowl opening. How much clearance do I need so I don't damage the cowl or air filter holder frame. I would expect the engine needs to have room to rock a little within the cowl. What do you think G

vert stab/fin fasteners

Wondering about bolts to fasten aft vert stab to empenage. In the IPC figure 13 shows attachment of "Fitting rear spar lower " with bolt NAS145-14s and NAS145-18. These are like big allen key bolts with hex socket in heads. Are these special and/or could regular AN bolts also be used? Than...

The fitting that mates the feul line to the carb purchased with the appropriate part number at great expense I realize now is leaking at the carb. It looks to me like a pipe thread going into the carb. Seem...
