Bruce.....you came thru for me :D I ordered 2 post lights this afternoon and am going to do the exact same thing.........one post to light per 2 instruments........Im not too woried about the look I am more interested about the functionality. thanks for all of the help..I can always count on the ass...

You might be on to something there.......they would def. be close enough. the lights do work 8O I think....... I know it sound crazy but i havent checked..........or should I say I cant remember :roll: I may make sure the bulbs have not burned out.......im not sure about the post lights.....I may or...

Thanks Doug.......I was just looking at the nulites and I am going to dremel out for the bottom cutouts.........as for the 2 1/16 problem.....not sure what to do yet.....my orig. lights dont do anything....do you think some post light in this area would look bad?

Got some nulites to light up my panel, started installing them and NO LUCK :evil: I got 3 put in and I trying to get the other 3 but my cut outs for the vsi and altimeter are at the bottom of the instrument.....the other problem is my 2 1/16 oil temp and press and volt gauge. the smallest nulite is ...

The weather here is low clgs and rain............It has been great up until now with clear calm skys and mid 60's......and that whole time my plane was still in paint and engine.......the day after I get home the weather turns to soup.............. :evil:

8O I think new batteries in my noise cancel headset will fix the door...I am not worried about much air leaking and heck when I am sitting in the plane I cant even tell if the door looks perfect or not.......and if someone notices it while im flying......im either flying too LOW or they just about h...

I actually comes with a faa pma sticker that says most of the cessna types including 170 a and b . You know I almost asked him if it was the Challenger but I couldnt bring myself to it :twisted:

HMMMMM I wonder if a Hawker Alt would work :?: ...I bet it could power all of my stuff :lol:

Pilot side door not closing all the way

when I close the pax door it sits flush with the fus. but the pilot door does not.....is there a way to fix this? I moved the door stirker all the way in. I can push the door in farther but when I let go it just pops back out. The door stays shut just fine but it just doesnt look right.

Hello all......well.....I talked to the guy at aircraft door seals and he gave me the whole scoop on the door seals......I looked them over real good, and they are different than HD weather strip. they are alot thicker and more rubbier.......is that a word.......anyway I put them on and they look gr...

You got that right......I flew a straight 800 and it was much better without the reversers. I dont even use them on the XP...I pop the buckets and that is about it......

it is approved for the 170. I it came with a pma sticker......I am just wondering if this stuff is made of something different than the home depot stuff or not. It sure looks the same. And wondering if anybody has used it and if so does it work.
