For those of you claiming the 170 has the same rudder as the 195 that is not correct. The 170 actually has more rudder than a 195 as there is no tail cone on the 170 and the rudder extends lower on the 170. Bill K

If your gasket or the small O-ring does not seal gas will be sucked out of the fill cap and gas will be sucked over from the other tank because the cap is In a low pressure area of the airfoil. if yours is like mine it would be easy to replace the original as there is an inspection plate and a connector just inside the wing. if your going to cut the fabric hopefully you have dope on your fabric and not some of the other finishes.
