Re: Sensenich’s Ground-Adjustable Props
Yes but if it’s ground adjustable, going to coarse, at what point does the o-300 speed drop. Or at 53 pitch what is max rpm obtainable with 80” . Guess that’s the fine details in the STC

Re: Lightspeed Delta Zulu
George, yes the Bose do feel nice on the head. Guess I’ll find out how reliable the Lightspeeds are but I think we can all agree ANR headsets are worth paying more for.

Lightspeed Delta Zulu
https://www.aircraftspruce.ca/catalog/avpages/lightspeed_deltazulu.php Crazy thing happened to me while attending Oshkosh. I went shopping for an ANR headset, well really just window shopping. I tried on a Bose headset at their grand display pavilion and liked it. I did think it was a bit pricey an...

Re: Need recommendations for ADSB In
Well you are right, I should have been more specific. As I mentioned I have the tailbeacon x. I went that way to comply with future Canadian rules, being Canadian. I looked at other options but as I do not have a Waas GPS source, it was the least expensive way to comply. I use an I-Pad and have a Fo...

Re: Baby bushwheel on 8.5 mains?
Good question, would not the deck angle be less ? Also what about dampening ?Any opinions if 8.5 desser mains are large enough to balance the 11” tail wheel? Looks, like the deck angle will still be slightly steeper than with original 6” mains and stock tail wheel

Re: 2023 Cessna 170 Convention, Sault Ste. Marie Michigan
Bruce, the code, is what I was referring to. As mentioned when you call Res likely its a call centre and they couldn’t help me until they knew :D the code, also I thought I was calling the hotel but not so, even when I got through to someone who chiseled down to find the rate, they didn’t know which...

They called me back, a bit if confusion over which hotel but I now can confirm the code number as Bruce has stated. Might the mods put the in the members only area or should it be seen by all.

Re: 2023 Cessna 170 Convention, Sault Ste. Marie Michigan
Called today for Res, reservations clueless as to our rate, put me on hold then put me on another line to another department (Events ?) . Line went to voicemail. Sorry Miles if I’ve missed it or maybe I’ve not missed it but couldd the code for our rate be posted in the members area.

Re: Baby bushwheel on 8.5 mains?
You’re likely not alone (I’m working on weight reduction now as well as most of my life). I removed my AI to install the AV30 and I don’t think there’s much difference in weight between the instruments. Maybe removing the transponder with a tailbeacon x will drop a couple of lbs but being right on t...

Re: Major Airframe Repair Alignment Query?
My comments were aimed at using a used aft bulkhead, hope Ryan can find a new part that would make things much easier.
Looking at the pic’s from Mena looks like a new bulkhead from a impressive secret stash somewhere.
