Thanks for the help the new p/n 0422215 helps looks like McFarlane does have them at 35.00 ea and the needle bearing B 78x is available on amazon so I am going to order them.

I've been checking around and the bushing p/n 0422200-2 is pretty hard to find, I was hoping someone would have been down this road before.

rag wing Aileron bushings

I took the aileron off and found the bushing and bearings in bad condition where do I get Aileron bushings and new bearing and what is the part Number ? I would think this is a common problem, Is this something Cessna may have ? I don't have a book that far back. thanks for any help

Thanks, this it a great site good input, After looking around I think the way to go is the new key starter , just have to cut the shaft so it will fit.

0300A Starter Seal

The shaft seal on my starter is leaking pretty good and so far I haven't been able to find a seal, Does anyone have an ideal where I could find one ?

I hope you are able to get that approved, because I am working on rerouting the fuel lines to conform with the A and B model, to remove the pump and check valve, Has any ever done this ?

I flew this plane home a few days ago, It hadn't been flown in a some time, I was a little apprehensive due to the fact I didn't have any time in a C-170,but thousands of hours in a T-craft. My son picked up a 1948 model and we are in the starting work on it and one of the things I don't like is the fuel caps. Is there a way to extend the filler necks so they don't get water in the tanks. I know that Atlee Dodge makes extended necks for 180's and 185's. What is the best way to go on thi...
