Our 170B has the 145 Continental. The POH values for max static RPM on a landplane is 2230 to 2330, with ours at the low end 2250.

How do you increase it to 2330, without changing the prop?

Yes, I am in Canada.

ART Wing-X are also hoping to get the paperwork approved for a 110 lb GW increase as well for the 145 HP 170's, and it should be retroactive to anyone who has them installed.

Still deciding which option gives a better performance increase: Wing-X or Horton?

Hi Jon, Thanks for the tip. My son's feet are size 12 and still growing. Fortunately in Vancouver the winters are not as harsh as in Alaska.
