Re: Jet Size increase for ma3 on o300 with High Comp Pistons.

Although this is not a usual topic for these forum pages, I would say there are resources that can probably answer your questions here. So curious minds. I have long studied this topic. I even produce an exhaust system to aid in the O-300 series. I have ran dyno data on an O-300 and I can probably a...

Aaron and other Members messaging system on the TIc170 forum

To the new members. The messaging system works good but has a huge limitation. You cannot receive responses from other members unless you remove old messages on your account. The limit is 10. Re: Wondering what to expect

In Hawaii, Obama made a sanctuary on the east side of Oahu so no one could fly or boat anywhere near the east side of the island. One of the biggest hazzards in my opinion. Even airline traffic has to approach the island from the south now. This is an indefinite procedure. D

Re: Intercom Tone When Transmitting

If the side tone just started it probably is not the jacks but it could be. I would check to see that you are grounding well. No more then 3 ground connections on any lug in avionics and also make sure that the battery ground to frame is good. no corrosion. grounding is the leading cause to avionics...

I had meaningful vibration and my flying buddies were all getting their props balanced with amazing results. My starting IPS was 1.5! 8O The first washer placement brought it down to 0.8 and what a differ...

Re: Bartone Exhaust

I have no way to calculate it but there is thrust in the exhaust stream. Pointing down and aft, that thrust has to help. Doug, did the increase in engine output with your stacks cause any increase in static engine rpm? That might be hard to determine on the dyno, not sure how it was tested. Fuel fl...
