"What in hell is it supposed to filter out anyway?" Right now it's best at filtering money out of my wallet; $200 or $300 for original kit w/STC and another $200 or so for replacement element.

GA, I'm off my original subject, but in my case you're right; I've never squeezed out a Brackett element - Just took it out of the plastic and installed. I could easily go back to my Brackett filter, but I'm hundreds of dollars into the Challenger, and am hoping that someone has had more success wit...

Anyone besides me have this mod? I'm not able to keep the gauze pleats "pink". I sent my first element back to Challenger because the pleats weren't holding the oil; they said that I had "over-oiled it", and sold me a new one. My new one has the same problem, with the top pleats ...

Portable Jack
Does anyone have a recomendation for a small/light weight jack that I can carry in the plane for off-airport emergency tire repairs? I've got the jack-pad adapter for the legs, but I need something a lot more compact then a floor jack.
