It is a AN816-2B according to the Cessna IPC. B means copper alloy (brass) and in this case soldered closed and a #60 hole drilled in it. Does anyone have info on an STC to replace an 0-300 with a 0-360 or I0-360 in a 1960 C-172A? Yes I know it's not a 170 but it has the same engine which I'll put up for sale here if it works out.

That's just really sad news. I met Bruce when we were both flying hang gliders in the Owens Valley. We met a couple of more times over the years, and he was always really friendly and well grounded. A loss to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
